Adsense revenue are fluctuating

Since Penguin update I guess, or around that time, I noticed that my traffic as decreased, thus my revenue decreasing.
Now, Im also noting a phenomena in my adsense account. One minute I may have 17.05$, a few minutes later I have 12.03$ or even less.
Revenue is always going way up then suddenly down, not just a few cents, but a pretty good difference. The number posted are just an example.
I also have alot of clicks but these clicks are worth barely nothing when i see my revenue at the end of the day.
What could be the problem ? MY traffic is mainly organic from yahoo and bing and 75% from US, rest is Uk, Canada, philippines.
