Review My Site please

I posted this in the internet marketing forum, and I guess I should have put it here, but I make around $1,000, give or take an extra hundred or two every month, but hardly any of this money comes from Adsense! Can you see if I am doing this wrong? Or have Adsense set up in a bad spot?

There are 2 links in my sig. The first one is the landing page to my main site, where I have 2 large Google Adsense rectangle ads. The second link is a blog post, where I have an Adsense in-post ad. View them both and see if this looks good to you or not.

I must tell you that this blog is only 4 months old and is still only getting around 60 organic visits per day...so I realize that may be my problem, but would appreciate it if anyone could direct me as to where to place these ads.

It would be much better if you put a link to the site in your post so we can actually see it. Generally speaking the best click through rate I get (CTR averages around 20%) is on a VERY plain site with a large Leaderboard right under the title, a Medium rectangle in the post and a linkunit in the right sidebar right on top. The best adsense CTR comes from simple plain sites.

What about reading the whole post BEFORE replying to it?

To the OP: no, you are again in the wrong forum... (FYI, there is a subforum with "adsense" in its name!)

its actually quite a nice site

The typography is pretty nice /functional

Personally I think it uses too much stock photography which gives a rather cheap impression

you do need to look at your alt tags

its the content letting the site down imho that'll come with time

Sorry for posting this in the wrong place again...my ALT tags should be good...when I upload my images I set them to my keywords, plus I have that friendly images plugin that is supposed to set ALT tags.
As per content, I am still learning. But I appreciate the nice words. However, do I have my Adsense in the right positions? I know 60 visits per day isn't much, but I should be seeing something, right?

Well for one your adsense blocks on the right side get cut off, so it doesnt look natural. Second perhaps changing your link colors for adsense to the same link color, green, as the rest of your site. Maybe try moving your embed ad in your stories from right to left, as naturally people read left to right. Well in the US that is. Also check out googles adsense heat map to get a better understanding what part of the page gets clicks.

Also for adsense ads, if you havent already enable both text and images. Even Google reports you potentially make more with this setup. I suggest to hop on over to googles official adsense blog and adsense youtube channel and read/watch for some useful tips.
