Hi everyone,

I would like to get into PPC > CPA.

I would like to keep my costs down early on as I will be testing the waters.

My question is, why do people limit themselves to Google, Yahoo, and MSN to purchase their clicks?

Looking at traffic stats vs. pricing for engines such as Miva and 7search, it would seem those would be better options especially for the newcomer to PPC.

Does anyone use the smaller PPC engines with any success?

The reason most of the time advertisers focus on these big PPC search engines is that these search engines have good quality traffic as compared to other smaller search engines.

But , it does not mean that you should not use the smaller search engines .

If done right you can make good fortune with the smaller search engines too.

Because they are well known search engines world wide. Your market are the users surfing the net. And those top 3 search engines receives billions of queries everyday who where looking for a certain product , news and informations they want to know.

Ya I know the obvious reasons in terms of large numbers... but with that comes a high price per click.

It seems that you could use the small search engines as an accurate training ground at the very least.

    answer:

I use google, you use google, your mama uses google.

Yahoo maybe, maybe MSN. And yahoo's ppc prices were not THAT attractive as some people claimed it was. In fact, i had higher min. bids on yahoo.

IF you want cheap clicks, use google content network maybe.

You have to do some of your own research. 7search / clicksor I doubt will give you very targeted options. Go to websites where you think your customers are and take note of the text ads. For example, motley fool / usa today / wall street journal use Adhere / espn.com uses quigo / cnn uses adsonar.

Do you know in many countries with the name of Google their are many garments ... in one of the Asian countries a firm used Yahoo name for its under garments and Yahoo sued them.

So they are big names and everyone knows about them.
