Hi,

I looked around the forum for a while but could not find an answer to my problem.

I have software for all sorts of crap but nothing that can check a list of urls to see if they are valid.. Does anyone know what I might use that can check a list of urls to see if they are still valid or not..

For example - If over 3 months I created X number of articles and submitted them to various sites, blogs etc, I might have a list of 100 different urls.. over time some will disappear as sites come and go, and some will even still around for a long time... If I want to provide some backlinks to the articles with bookmarks etc I want to know I am not wasting my time.. So how can I check these links to see if they are still current without having to manually click on each link and go to the site...

There must be some useful tool out there...

thanks

Scrapebox is 100% safe as long as you run it on a VPS because one of the urls you are checking could be infected.

It's free, you don't need vps for this.

You run can as many antivirus scans as you want but I didn't had a single problem with it.

The better version is at the actual scrapebox program itself. For link checking this is the best free software for me.

Just paste all your backlinks you want to check on a txt file. Then paste your url on the other txt file.

      Click scan.

It will check all the backlinks if it has your url.

It says if it is found or not found.

    Hi Everyone...

    Thanks for responding so quick

That scrapebox link checker is exactly what I was looking for.. I only needed something to say yes or no, and I can export the found links into a text file, which is exactly what I was hoping for..

    thanks
