Question about Death By Captcha Fraud
- SEO |
I hope this is the right place to ask this. I finally decided to sign up for a decaptcha service so I wouldn't have to input all those things in my AMR software. I signed up for Death by Captcha and they have already taken the money out of my account but I can't use it because they are asking me to verify my order. Something about anti-fraud. This is what they asked for:
"In order to validate your payment and complete your order, please
provide us with the following documents during the next two business
days:
- a copy of a recent credit card billing statement, confirming the
name, address, and telephone number associated with the credit card
presented for your order.
- a copy of a photo ID (identification card, driver`s license or
passport) of the Credit/Debit Card account holder."
They want me to scan this information which is time consuming and kind of defeated the purpose of them being time savers. But my main concern is them asking me for a passport or driver's license.
My questions are: Have any of you ever had this sent to you by this company? Would you give them this information? Or would you ask for your money back and go with someone else?
I've never gotten an email like that before especially not over a piddling $6.95. Seems like overkill to me but maybe that's how they always do things.
Thanks guys!
