What the hell is wrong with my site

For the longest time I felt like something was wrong with it, I even came on here asking for help, Yukon and Bnetwork just to name a few advised me to do some internal linking never got around to it btw.

Yukon pointed out that it was ranking 39# for echo tech salary, a keyword that is as easy as they come, but today when I checked medtech6 is not even in top 150 for echo tech salary.

Plus I don't rank for those long tail yahoo answers type post titles, I just don't get it, something is defiantly wrong but I can't pin point what.

I thought maybe the whole not having any backlinks might have been it, so a bought a few backlinks from fiverr, since I felt like what the hell it's not ranking any way I deiced to just use this site to experiment on, and even after having 195 links still nothing.

Zeroing in on your post titles, they are not appearing as
normal text titles in the post. I would just
    do <h1>Title here</h1>

No title= name, no <a href=, nothing. Just good old-fashioned
plain text. Those attributes may be mucking things up.

I noticed this as I was trying to copy and paste the
post title. Could not do it. It was treated as an element,
    not plain text.

The proof I have of this, is that when searching for:
the career training and responsibilities of a pharmacist
no quotes, your site is nowhere.

Using "the career training and responsibilities of a pharmacist"

I get 8 pages. BUT...none of them are that post. Google
is having trouble getting each post, but they are zeroing
in on the side bar titled, "Popular posts." Each page
has the the first one titled "the career training and responsibilities of a pharmacist"
    which is plain text.

I also think that some of the page titles are completely messed up.
You have: medical technician blog: pharmacy technician.

I would change that and all of them to:
    Medical technician careers: Keyword Phrase

Having "Medical technician Blog" does not sound
or look very good. Plus, is it for medical technicians
or people wanting to be one? Can't tell.

It would be easy to hand code a site like that and make
    everything perfect.

Thanx a lot for taking the time to look over my site, you are correct. idk why I didn't use medical careers, duh lol. My knowledge of html is very limited everything I know is from reading and trial and error, so everything you just said translated into pghegepbgvgbg in my mind .

But I suppose it is the template, sometimes I even get the blogspot version in serps instead of my custom domain. I altered the template to try and make it Google friendly but may have messed things up.

Edit: In the past I did less on site seo with better results, I have never had a site with problems such as this, as far as post titles not being plain text that's just how blogger is, idk how to make post titles as plain text.

On all my blogger blogs, none have what yours have.
When you look at it, it appears to be plain text.

        It's just <a href="link">Post Title</a>

Try and copy the post title as text. Can't do it.

Here's how a post title is coded on your page:
        <h1 class='post-title entry-title'>
        <a href='http:// www. medtech6.com/2012/05/career-training-and-responsibilities-of.html' title='The Career Training And Responsibilities Of A Pharmacist'>The Career Training And Responsibilities Of A Pharmacist</a>
        </h1>

I put spaces so no link.

Sites can get messed up royally with CLASS, DIV, etc.

Most likely the a attribute or h1 tag is setup as a display:block with maybe 100% width. If you mouse over the h1 tag then move the mouse over off to the right into the white you will still see the hand cursor.

If I change the template to a standard blogspot template will that fix everything.
