How to rank this site better

Hi guys.

I have a site howtodownloadtv.com which ranks at number 131 in Google for the keyword How to Download TV.

I am of course aiming improve my SERP with this keyword; my other keywords I am getting okayish rankings but they too could be a lot better.

I was last year ranked number 1 for my target keyword but some how I am 131 which is a huge setback.

Can you see anything on my page that would cause my rankings to drop, maybe I have too many instances of the keyword? my H tags are wrong?

I do not have too many backlinks but I am working on that; could this also be the thing holding me back?

Thank you for the help if you can; this is driving me insane.

That keyword only gets 46 searches a month. Why bother ranking for it?

I am using Google keyword tool aswell and am getting 2,240,000 global searches for the keyword 'How to download TV'

Am I doing something wrong?

  You are looking at the broad match figures and not the exact match figures.
  
  This is the number one most common keyword research mistake.

As pointed out by Mike, "how to download tv" is a very low volume keyword.

You'd be marginally better off targeting "how to download tv shows" which gets 720 exact GMS.

This month no searches for this keyword...I will suggest you to change this keyword to "New Zealand Tourism". This will be good for promoting your website.

Hi James, not trying to rank the link in the signature at the moment; working on another.

Okay; I know where I was going wrong; I was not looking at the exact search but rather the broad.

So the broad search is every thing with 'how to download tv' in it? for example 'how to download tv shows now' ?

broad includes search with those keywords in any order and with any other words.

Broad match results would include:
- How on earth did I manage to download the latest movie, when I can watch it on TV.
- TV Guide. Download our how to guide.
- How to download the tech specs for our latest TVs
etc. etc

So what I really need to be focusing on is taking Google Keyword tool and looking for the term 'how to download tv' and generating content relating to all the keywords that come up as related to my targeted keyword?
