What is a realistic daily adsense target

I built a site about 2 months ago, I never expected it to really make any money. It was pretty much created to test out a few SEO techniques. The site is really poor quality:
It now sits on an alexa rank of 200,000 ish. Last week it was 500,000 plus. So traffic is flowing in.
Spotting this traffic I threw up a few badly placed adsense ads, just to see what would happen.
Yesterday I took £3.50 and today Im already on £2.90.
What do you think is a realistic target for adsense per day?
