Hi,

Its totally depends on your KWs Competitions and How you have done On Page Optimization of your Site. Second thing is quality of Content and Site Structure and URL Structure. Also Depends on that what types of efforts you giving to build links.

I said only that if you KWs Competition is high and your On Page and Off page is perfect as per google's guidelines then it will take at least 3-4 month to get rank in first page.

Impossible to say since there's a TON of variables. The strength of your competition, the quality of your content, the quality of your backlinks, etc.

Getting on the first page in search results can take a few days, a few weeks, or a few months. It depends on a a large number of factors such as the keywords selected, the amount of traffic, the number and quality of backlinks, the marketing strategies used, etc. A micro niche site that focuses on low competition keywords and provides quality content can get a top position in search engines within a few days or weeks. If you want to build an authority site, you will have to wait longer.

Ranking in Google varies greatly depending on the keyword competition. Its near impossible to estimate how long it will take to rank for a keyword until you start your link building campaign(s).

Crawling time =//= rankings.

There's a ton of factors that come into play, and it has nothing to do with crawling time unfortunately. Page one also depends on the niche, some niches are easy to break into. Others can take years.

Touche. This thread really falls to the concept of this phrase you mentioned at your post gearmonkey.

Anyhow, if you're article are so unique and you really give it your best for it to contain quality content then it should be for a few weeks.

However, if it's not it is going to be for about 3 months at least or so.

This is due to the number of your competitors especially to the number of their keywords used and other SEO tools they have in play.

You want to know how fast you will be on page one of google from article marketing.....

Even if you gave use every bit of information from your keyword, to domains age, pr, overall authority, serp overall competition, top 10 competition, how many articles you plan on writing a day, how optimized the articles are, etc., no one could give you an exact answer...

There isn't a definite time. You have competition, so it's safe to assume that they're doing the same thing as you. If they're ahead of you on the search results, it just means that they're doing a lot more than you do. Actually, it's not limited to just that. There are a lot of other factors that may affect the rank of one site.

I use majestic seo to check backlinks and see the results guys:
These are the links of the first ranked webpage
These are my links and I am on the 19th position and there are sites like squeeze pages that are better ranked of me...omg :/ i really need help!!!

If you doing SEO for your site well then it will take 1-3 months to first on Google. For good result you should done good Off-page SEO and On-Page SEo also. If the composition of those keyword which you want to first on Google is low then it take small time.

Crawl rate isn't going to help your organic ranking, but if you want to speed up your crawl rate, there is a setting in webmaster tools to make the bot visit your site more often.

Time frame completely depends on competition and also on your domain authority. So its nearly impossible to predict without knowing competition level and your domain.

There is no specific time frame or amount of links, that are required to be ranked as 1 or 2 or 3 or something else. What is important is the quality of your back links. If you can collect back links from some good PR site, within short time, you can get a good PR. If not, you may have to wait for years.
