ahrefs.com suddenly updated my profile?

Hi,

I checked ahrefs.com for my website earlier today, and it just looked similar to it has the last few weeks. Ive just checked it again and suddenly it's updated by increasing my link count by around 250 more, and also it's now showing the more varied anchor text that I've been using to try and get my site out of the penguin 'penalty'.

Why would this happen? I thought ahrefs.com was always up-to-date? Not that I'm complaining It's showing my link profile looks a lot better now which is great.

    ^^ it's not always up to date. They push db updates out periodically (I think).

        Yeah, I factor in two things when looking at Ahrefs data:

        1. It's only a piece of the pie, it probably only has 75% of my backlinks.

        and

        2. It's going to be a few weeks behind on my backlink profile. So new backlinks aren't going to show up right away.
