How to check site backlink ?

Without a doubt i would use opensiteexplorer, or ahrefs. I have seen the most in depth reports from them. These are external tools.

As for internal tools i would download the free verion of traffic travis or google webmaster tools.

I actually downloaded the free version of traffic travis but cant register it with the key they sent me.

I say check out ahrefs.com, good solution and tool for what you are looking for.

There is also majesticSEO.com, and SEOMoz's tool

use inurl: operator otherwise use Google webmaster tools. it is nice to check both inbound link and out bound link.

You can check back link in many ways. But there is no way where it show 100% accurate result. You can use Google Webmaster Tool, its show back link approximately 95% accurate. You can also use 3rd party website such as backlinkwatch.com.
