They seem very cheap but are they actually good?

Speaking from experience, having tried Bluehost at some point, I prefer StableHost. Note: I'm not affiliated with them in any way.

Their pricing seems to be relatively similar and the customer support is excellent. As far as cheap shared hosting goes, they're the best I've found.

I saw that Stablehost uses Litespeed web server instead of Apache. Does that make any difference as far as what we can install on our sites or not? Any compatibility issues at all?

I like Bluehost, but overall dig HostGator a little more for simple shared hosting. I've run into a few issues with Bluehost that I just haven't had with HG.

Not many people recommended this but Fatcow has so far been an excellent host for all my sites. + Excellent 24/7 support as well.

Most people prefer cPanel for their control panel then FatCow's vDeck in-house control panel. I think that's one reason why you don't see as many recommendations for them. But glad things are going well for you with them

I've read that when you want to add additional domains to your account with Bluehost they make you verfiy that you own the domain. Is that true? Or is it like Hostgator or Hostmonster where you log in to your cpanel and click on add on domains and then just follow the steps to add your domain with no verification?

Also is there any difference with Bluehost as far as features goes that might be missing compared to Hostgator or Hostmonster?

I'm looking for a 3rd hosting option to put my new sites on and was considering going with Bluehost this time around.

    Any other feedbacks?

Ive heard the something about bluehost. Not sure if its true or not as I have never tried them myself. I know with hostgator its as easy as pointing the nameservers in the correct location and adding the domain to the cpanel.

Yes it's the same process to create an add-on domain with Bluehost except that you have to verify ownership of the domain.

Verify ownership of the domain name, there are three ways this can be done:
      • Name Servers: Update your Name Servers to ns1.bluehost and ns2.bluehost
      • Create HTML Page: Create an HTML page on your existing host containing the text provided.
      • EPP Code: This will not transfer your domain name, but use the EPP code to verify ownership.

There shouldn't be any compatibility issues mrtrance.

Having used Bluehost for several years, I can say I'm generally happy. Support calls are answered, dealt with promptly, and they've saved me with their backups a few times (they do nightly backups of your account). The price is right. Hostmonster is the same company, FYI.

I've personally never had a problem with Bluehost if it was just for hosting a single website. For SEO hosting I'd rather stick with a company that's dedicated to just providing those types of services.

Curious to know if anyone else is using Arctic SEO Hosting - Reliable Web Hosting For SEO Professionals or any other SEO hosting companies for blog networks, microsites, etc.

Iv'e been a happy customer with Bluehost for 5 years now. They provide the best support, server performance, and the pricing is pretty competitive. You really can't go wrong choosing this host.
