Jesus the first adsense website I made is taking off like a wild bull! It's been ranking for 2 months now and has a 9.76% - 16.67% CTR (mostly on the high side)

Also a CPC of $1.55 - $2.79

I feel like I opened the flood gates of hell on my ass and liked it >=)~

I guess I did my homework RIGHT. It pays off to over analyze keywords and double chick them twice b4 you buy a domain around that keyword. Here's a tip to anyone who truly wants to know the traffic amount they will get when selecting a keyword for a adsense site.

1. Type in your keyword into Google.

2. Look for a site that is relevant to your keywords.

3. Set up a PPC campaign on adwords and use the URL you found to send your visitors.

4. Set-up a daily budget of $15-$20 for 24hrs.

5. If in 24 hours your budget isnt gone yet than I wouldnt even waste my time with those keywords. Also keep the keywords with the highest impressions and use those.

The point of all these steps before launching a adsense site is Google keyword is wrong when it comes to the true amount of traffic (not all the time)

Last thing you want is to launch a site wait weeks or months before it ranks and get a handful of clicks a day.

I rather have a handful of sites making me $2000 $3000 a month than 60 sites to which most of them are duds and not bringing in alot of traffic or money.

*** Very important guys***

I go after keywords that are $5 CPC or more when I look for keywords. Sure they take a little more time to find but man are they worth it!!

That is an insane CTR and really puts mine to shame, congrats on the success and now all you need to do is scale it up and watch your profits soar. I am still learning alot about Adsense and really need to focus a bit more on the average cpc as my site can get paid as little at $0.20 per click. good luck with the site anyway.

I've learned that if the CPC is greater than $4 it's almost a sure thing once you launch your adsense site the advertisers will pay good money per click on your adsense site. It's too risky when the CPC of a keyword is $1 when looking for a keyword. Take for example the site I'm talking about on this post the CPC is higher than $5 so I knew I would get $1 or more per click once my adsense site was up and running...

Smart move with the PPC & testing the keyword for traffic. I've used Keywordspy for testing new keywords that the Adwords guys consistently run.

The consistency on Keywordspy is a good thing because PPC guys won't consistently spend money on keywords unless those keywords are winners.

That conversion rate is insane, do you think it has to do more with your ad placement, blog theme, or what?

No way CTR theme alone cant work miracles like that!! Research research and more research thats what it takes. The hardest part is the off-page SEO and finding someone cheap who does good work and is fast too.
