How does buying facebook likes benefit me please?

I guess its a case of the people who like the site will click on the links on the page?

Now if i buy likes is that worth doing,

I am a little bit in the dark about this and would like some advice please

    some believe that Facebook likes on your website will help increase its social aspect. Google is starting to add social media factors to the algorithm so im sure it plays a part...

    ive been testing it out so far and it helped a site of mine i just built last week. its already on page one with no backlinks...

    im sure it will count for something....

    I really dont think facebooks likes help your ranking.
    I do think it helps your site looks "legit" for new users/customers.

    Instead of speculating, I don't know why people don't pay attention to figure this out for themselves.

    Number 1, find me a site in a competitive niche that is ranking based on Facebook likes. I have yet to find one.

    Number 2, Facebook is aligning itself more and more with Apple (just pay attention to the news). Apple is competing with Google in the mobile phone business, but also to a degree in search now too with Siri and some of their mobile search capabilities. Google would not make its algorithm partially dependent on a rival or ally of a rival, in this case, Facebook.

    About the only people that will tell you Facebook likes play a role in rankings are people selling Facebook likes.
