So now "innocent" sites will be getting the unnatural links message as well. I thought though some "innocent" sites were getting that message already. Many people had reported getting it, but then never seeing a drop in rankings.
The way I read this message is that in the past if you received an unnatural links message, then you definitely had funky links and the algorithm had taken action against your rankings. Now, however, if you get the message, you may or you may not be screwed, but we're not telling.
