Building Links to YT Video - Last Cache Was 10 Days Ago?

I've only tried to rank a few YT videos for local clients but so I'm certainly not a pro at this.
I thought I would have seen some results by now as I've been consistently building links to it over the last week.
With other local YT videos it would pop up on pg. 1 or 2 the first day or so and then drop back a bit but not happening with this one.
Can't find it in the search results unless I put the exact URL for the video into Google.
I noticed today that the last cache was 10 days ago.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
I've been building links to the URL that shows up in Google, should I be building links to the "embed" URL instead? They are certainly different.
