HOW ELSE CAN A POLITICAL BLOG MAKE MONEY OTHER THAN ADSENSE

Hello Everyone,

Please I've been somewhat an inactive member of this forum for some years now. Sorry for my absence.

I would really need your views on this: Google recently stopped serving ads on my blog. They cited flouting of their policies as the reason. Particularly, they quoted a page where I published that "the Founder of Kony2012 video was arrested for masturbating in public". The picture of the guy wasn't wrong, in my candid opinion. He was wearing a red shirt.

Honestly, I got the news from Daily Mail. I don't know if that could be the reason for the action they took.

I have since deleted the page and appealed, yet they refused serving ads.

I have since signed up with AdBrite and Infolink, but the revenue from those could be described as plain miserable. Very little. Even Chitika isn't giving me anything.

My blog is a political and news blog, does anyone here have any idea on how I could make money without Adsense and these other ones I mentioned?

I'd be very grateful.

Thanks.

Well, there are many political books out there that you could sell as an amazon affiliate. That's one way you could make some extra money. I'm sure there are some books that sell for $50+ that you could make a decent commission off of.

But I already signed up for Amazon affiliates. Doesn't seem to be bringing in much.

Thanks Mike. I've already put up a notice on the blog for those willing to advertise to indicate interest. None has, but I am hopeful.

You have to be more aggressive than that. You need to contact companies that might be willing to advertise on your type of site. If you wait for them to come to you, you are just being lazy.
