Hey guys,

Before I ask my question, I want to express that I KNOW my question can't be answered with 100% accuracy. I want to know based on your own experiences. If you don't have a site or have never implemented adsense, please don't reply with an answer unless you have a good reference to go off.

Sorry if that comes off a little "prickish" I don't mean for it to by any means. I just want to get the right info posted. Hopefully this could help out everyone.

So my question:

What is your average CTR with Google Adsense? For example, if I got 10,000 people to come to my website a month. How many of those 10,000 on average or estimated, would click on an adsense link? Less than 1%? Less than 10%? More than 2% and less than 5%?

Any answer is a good one other than, "No idea bro!" lol

Thanks all.

Depends a lot on your ad placement and the type of site. I've got some forums that the CTR is under 1%. I've got a wordpress blog with an average of about 10%.

    Hope that helps some.

There are a lot of variables, if you have everything in place such as:

    Adsense converting layout
    CPC of $1 and higher
3, 500 global monthly search (position 3 and above)

    Should generate $300+ per keyword/month.

It depends a lot on the quality and source of your traffic. I have a site that gets about 2% CTR from organic search traffic. The same site receives about 30% CTR from visitors who arrive via my emails.
