Site Still Affected By Panda

I had one site hit by panda and have still yet to figure out how to get its ranking back, however I am experiencing a new and interesting phenomenon.

The wordpress urls that just contain the relevant pictures and nothing else rank extremely well for the relevant keywords but the pahes with the actual content are still nowhere to be found.

Anyone else see this before?

That's weird indeed. I think you should follow common post-Panda/Penguin best practice: keep on building links, diversifying your anchors and link sources as much as you can.

Also take a hard Google look at the pages you want to rank high. Do they appear natural or spamy? Are they the best content to meet user expectations they express in search queries?

Yes, Panda is the latest and major update in Google search engine algorithms. So many sites are hit by Panda and their rankings also got down.

Not really that unusual if it is a keyword with light competition. Wordpress defaults to having the image link to the URL with just the image unless you link it to something else. If you are putting alt-text in, you basically have an anchor text link surrounded by relevant text pointing to the image.
