How to Get Backlinks?

Hello all!
I am new to this forum, since google panda update I am confused from where to get backlinks?
I read article in which writer said backlinks only from related niche will be considered, all others will be trashed.
Please anyone suggest me how to get backlinks from related niche?

    That is correct. Those irrelevant content to the niche catered by the directory are not really trashed. It's just that they will hold no value at all. In the first place, why would you promote a plumbing-related niche to a directory that promotes medicines such as the Viagara? That's just an example though.

    Any easy way to start is by finding blogs in your niche and commenting on them. Start out with the ones that consistently outrank you. Make relevant comments based on the page on which you are posting. The only place your url should go is the the website url box. Do the same with forums. Search "niche + forum" in Google search. Put your blog url in the forum signature section.

      To do this, one way is to set up an Google Alerts. Add in your relevant keywords in google alert. Whoever search for the relevant topic, google will alert you.

    Relevancy does matter but it's not the only factor for the evaluation of the quality and strength of your backlinks.

    Look for high PR pages to create your backlinks on. I don't mean high PR of the home page, I mean the pages that your links are placed on themselves. The higher the PR, the better.

    Also take into account that PR is not linear. One link coming from a page with PR 4.4 can be far more powerful than a link placed on a page with PR 4.1. However, both pages would be marked that they have a PR of 4.

    In my opinion, you can use blog comment to build backlinks FAST. However it's not HIGH Quality.
    The highest quality backlinks come from guest Blogging. Leave it a try!
