What is goole Backlink?

I search on on a SEO tool for my site. It showed 5 Google Backlinks. But my site 9 month old. and i commented in many blogger blog. So i am in confusion, what is Google backlink? And how to create Google Backlink?

    A backlink is your site's URL on someone else's site. You can get them by commenting, guest posting, forum posting, and a variety of other different ways. You can also search these forums for more info on backlinks.

      Backlink is a link which is built on someone else's site and google has a lot webpage right now. So you have a lot chance of building backlinks. As your site get indexed by Google you get one backlink bonus.

    You need to remember that there is no software tool out there right now that can actually provide you with the amount of links you have pointing to your site.

    You may have thousands of links, but when you do a search it may only show 100.

    There is really no such thing as a Google backlink, a backlink is a backlink. the software is simply saying that Google has found and indexed 5 of your links. Again, this is not necessarily accurate.

    If anyone knows of any new methods to track "ALL" backlinks, I would be interested in hearing about it.

    A Google backlink is just a link that Google has indexed in their search engine. They are usually the slowest to update and index your links. I have sites that has 10+ thousand links on Yahoo, but only a few hundred in Google.

      I don't know why you'd need a tool. Blekko provides data for people doing SEO free of charge if you make an account. I don't know if it's as complete as paid crawl databases, but it works well enough for me.
