Pages with duplicate title tags in Wordpress MU

Checking in WMT I found several "pages with duplicate title tags".

example:

/mmofps/category/preview/
/mmorpg/category/preview/
/mmorts/category/preview/

As you can see I have created three sub-folders for each type of "online game": MMOFPS, MMORPG, and MMORTS. For each sub-folder (created with WP MU) I have the exact same categories, such as reviews, previews and guides.

This causes the problem of duplicate title tags. I would like to solve the problem and to do so I added a word to each category, transforming them into:

/mmofps/category/preview-mmofps/
/mmorpg/category/preview-mmorpg/
/mmorts/category/preview-mmorts/

In this way, however, I find many categories similar within each site. Example categories:

previews mmorpg
reviews mmorpg
guides mmorpg
interviews mmorpg
etc...

Repeat the word MMORPG in any category can be a problem? E 'a repetition harmful or considered as a kind of over-optimization? I think it's obvious that I'm looking for a solution to remove the duplicate tag without having to prevent indexing of categories, because they are very useful for SEO purposes.

Thanks to all who will help me.

Hi, a title tag is the html tag that holds the title of the page, not the path to the page.

So you can have a path: www.domain.com/somepage that has a <title> tag of 'anything you like'.

Or maybe I missed your real point?

      hi,

      thank you!

If my problem is not dependent on the url but the names of the categories, my duty is only to change the name of the categories, leave the URL intact.

In this way, the url remains the same for all sites (for example /news at all sites), but change the name (MMORPG news, MMOFPS news, MMORTS news).

In doing so, solve the problem? In SEO, is that correct?

My problem is the title tag of the categories. With Wordpress MU I created three sites:

      domain/site1/categoryname
      domain/site2/categoryname
      domain/site3/categoryname

categoryname is the duplicate title tag. To solve the problem I can leave the same urls, changing only the names of the categories?

      Example:

      domain/site1/categoryname-site1
      domain/site2/categoryname-site2
      domain/site3/categoryname-site3

Same goes for all other categories.

      Can it work?
