Hello WarriorForum community,

I'm really new into the whole niche website thing. I've started to dabble into niche marketing by starting my own review site, reviewing amazon products. My question is, "what are some of the strategies you use to get actual product review page to the top 10 of Google when searching for that specific model into Google search bar?"

Thanks for the advice!

Here's an article I posted a few months ago that will help you find products with NO competition on Amazon

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...th-amazon.html

As for ranking a website just smart link building.

There are tons of successful link types and methods

Just focus on good links, anchor diversity, social signals and link diversity

Put the brand and model number in your title and if it's a real popular model add a few back links. That should work!

      I agree competely...

This is exactly the thing I was going to suggest but he beat me to it...

      Have you tried this yet?

Of course. I make sure to have the product and model in my Title of my post I also use the OnlyWire to promote the new post. I do not add the product and model in the meta description though... I should do this.

Does anyone else have any advice on getting a product review page to rank at the top 10. It seems like I am doing most of the things state here on this thread, but it seems that my product might have too much competition or I need more authority for my website as a whole.

        Thanks,
        Jon

Also you need to write catchy article about product. The best is that when people find your site and they want to share this info with their friends and followers.

Thank for the advice. For your method on finding No/Low competition products through Google News, is there a way to filter actual products?

What I normally do is find use the keyword/keyphrase in the title of the post. For example say if the product name and model number is searched more without the brand I just use the product name and model without the brand inside the title of the post? For example if "Playstation 3" is search more than "Sony Playstation 3" then I'd used "Playstation 3 review" as the title of the article.

In "catchy" do you pertain to the product review in itself?

I also had a few more questions, sorry I'm really new with IM. But, how many keywords/keyphrases do you usually use in the product review? If the product I'm reviewing is the "Playstation 3" and I'm trying to rank for "Playstation 3 review" Do I need to include "Playstation 3 Review" somewhere in the text of my product review?

I guess I'm a little confused how people rank the actual review page to Google's top 10. Some people say target low/no competition products but is there any other way to work your way up to the top 10 if the product isn't technically "low" in the competition bracket.

      Thanks a bunch guys,
      Dauzy

You can buy expired domains, set them up and put a link to your site, that is pretty effective to rank but can also get expensive when you need many of them when going after the tougher keywords. Just use the search function on this forum to find out more about expired domains.

How about actually reviewing the product in depth, in real life? From there create your own pictures, videos, pdf's and text from your brain to the web.

I create in-depth reviews each product that I review. I don't create my own images though. I know that unique and different content would get me better results. I guess I'm just hoping for things that I may not know as a newbie.

I only use the photos that Amazon provides. That's it.

    Dauzy...

The strategy that works over and over for me is to target lower competition products and promote them. It allows me to earn a very significant monthly income without the need to do any manual backlinking.

My strategy allows me to send just an hour or two per day creating content. Most of my reviews then rank on page one with very little effort.

      Hi Wolf,

I've actually purchased your "Affiliates Starter Kit" not too long ago (about a week ago). So far I've been doing as the blueprint has told me to do. I feel as though I've chosen products that are low competition. I know my product review page may not get to the top 10 very quickly but I'm wonder how I would help to improve the actual product review to get to the first page of Google search results. Do I put certain keywords in my product review? Or do I just keep putting reviews into the site and hope that the site gets higher on the rankings and as a result my product review pages will get up there while my site gets better ranking? Right now my site is about #6 on the Google search results page when I type in my site keyword, but I realized that my EMD term isn't exactly searched very often, but the products that I do review are search quite a bit. I'm not really sure if what I'm doing currently is correct or if I'm on the right track... I'm fairly new at this.

      Thanks,
      Dauzy

Also, takes to everyone who has put there 2 cents in. This community has been very helpful.

      wolfmmiii,

It sounds like your plan is really working for you. Congratulations.

When you say you have no need to do manual backlinking, I have read that you do bookmarks with Onlywire. Many people would see this as backlinks, and I think newbies might be mislead to think nothing is needed, because of their inexperience - which may hold them back. Sure they can do nothing, but it may take a while to get anywhere that way.

Why not mention the bookmarks, then newbies can have the full picture.

      Best wishes,
      Jeannie

I say I do not do manual backlinking because I do not. OnlyWire is automated.

Any chance of a quick overview on what OnlyWire is, does and how to use it properly?

Go to Onlywire dot com and check it out...Pretty cool tool to have...I use it myself...You setup accounts on about 30 something web 2.0 services...When ever you make a post, or anything you are trying to promote for that matter, onlywire will post it to all the services you created...Thus giving you backlinks...Hope this helps you out

I don't recommend EMD domains. You'll definitely want to include your product in your review along with some other related terms. Also, what you'll want to do is be sure your meta description includes the product you are targeting as well as a call to action. If the first page of Google includes a bunch of PR0 and PRNA sites (with weak backlink profiles), you've probably chosen a good product. Otherwise, you might want to choose a different product.

I agree, if you use an EMD this really limits your website to only a few products.

What if you end up with a PR 6 somehow and are stuck with that EMD!
