i have a coupon site for a major electronics retailer (best buy) and am struggling to monetize it. I'm not eligible for their affiliate program because my url violates their terms. i'm getting 1000 views per month and am only able to generate about $3 per month via adsense. does anyone else have a coupon site that can give me a better idea?

Why don't you do a 301 redirect to a URL that will not violate their URL and run an affiliate program with them from the new URL? That way, you keep your traffic as well as run the right affiliate program.

      Excellent Suggestion.
Coupon sites works pretty well with email and zip submit CPA offers, give it a try.

Generally people searching for coupons are those who are looking for freebie stuff or to save some money on their purchases, and with that traffic even if you have some other product's coupon (Walmart, BestBuy, Subway etc..), they still go for those and its not that difficult to make them submit zip or email address.

For instance check these out BB - Big Coupons | Affiliate Programs, Offers & http://www.offervault.com/affiliate-...cal-coupon-us/ There are many offers like these on different networks that converts pretty well, but you have to try, test and scale up those offers and then come up with a winning campaign that works with your traffic, be it PPC or SEO traffic.

You might want to look into hxxp://www.viglink.com ?

I signed up when they first started up a few years back, never tried to monetize with them.

They're a middle man between affiliates & retailers, you place the viglink code on your site then link to a retailer that's working with viglink (ex: Best Buy) with a normal html link, viglink code will automatically add the referral code to the URL.

Your first thought might be, well viglink will get some of your money, but I think viglink cuts a better deal with the retailers since viglink drives higher volume traffic from all the combined viglink affiliates.

Again, I haven't tried to monetize with viglink, when I first signed up I was planning on building a deals site, just got too busy with everything else going on.

Back when I signed up with viglink, If you had a website & a name you got accepted (lol).
