Does having a custom Domain at Google Blogger, which has to be forwarded, bad for SEO ??

Just got off the phone with Go Daddy. I transferred my domain from Yahoo to Godaddy in the last week. I have not been able to access my Blog in the last few days. Godaddy said that I needed to go into Control Panel and have Domain Forwarded. The guy said that it takes away from SEO efforts with the forward but that is the only way with Google Blogger and having it hosted on Google Server !

Is this correct ?? I have had a year of successful SEO with this Domain and others which I upgraded to Custom Domain last year at Blogger Blog. I got ranked pretty good but I dont know maybe looking back on it this forwarding of domain with Google Servers has had its downfall ?? Its all kind of confusing to me.

Is this forwarding issue and the negative impact for SEO at Blogger , true ?? Thanks for any insight. I am sure we have some experts out there who could answer this !!

    If your blogger is already ranked better... you are going to lose all those rankings when you have new domain because it's like starting a new site I think...

      Thanks for the response solidsnake...but NO, my blogspot lasted about 2 days before I paid ans changed it over to a custom domain a year ago. All my rankings , link juice, serps etc..etc.. is for the custom domain.

      I guess I shouldn't worry about anything , but talkng to this guy at Godaddys thru me off guard a little bit. And had me concerned .
