Best way to build backlinks for a product review site?

Hi everyone,
What would you recommend for being the best way to build backlinks to a product review site?
Would you link to the individual product page (www.mysite.com/product1.html) or just your domain (www.mysite.com)
Mind you, products are reviewed daily so I could build a separate 10 web 2.0 properties with link juice, tons of edu and gov links, etc.
I just would like something that's practical that doesn't take a ton of time and that still would help work.
