keyword placement across site or on 1 page

Hi,
I have a question about onpage optimization. I have about 8 different keywords for my site. Should i spread these keywords across the site, like i usually do. Or put all keywords on homepage. You see my site doesnt promote alot of different products, or have different themes, where it makes sense to target 1 keyword for a relevant page. But I would like to keep the entry point to site on homepage, otherwise it might not make sense.

What do you guys think?

It's a lot easier to rank a page for a specific keyword or phrase. But I still try to add related keywords to the content, just for diversity.

Have individual pages for each keyword. Trying to rank one page for several keywords can be difficult. If they are related or can be captured in a long-tail keyword phrase it will be easier.

An alternative, since you want traffic to enter on your homepage, is to rank for the most important and highest traffic keyword on the homepage and let folks "discover" your other pages. Be sure to provide valuable content and an opti-in on the homepage as well.

And finally without knowing what your site is or the products you are selling its best to optimize for one keyword or product on your homepage because the last thing you want on the entry page is have more than one CTA (call to action). Too many CTA's and your visitor is confused - and as they say - a confused mind does nothing.
