I am doing seo for a website targeting business from UK, USA and Canada. My hosting server is based in UK. After a month of link building for my best keywords I got top listings in UK but not in other 2 countries. I would like to get some advice on this. Is there some seo tactics to use to get good listings in geographical areas?

The competition worldwide is tight so you need to double your effort... and its not just about link building... it's all about related linkbuilding and high quality content.

That is what I have been working on but it is benefiting only one region.

I don't think a month is anywhere near enough to get you to the top. Assuming it is a reasonably competitive market some of your competitors will have been building their search engine position for years and it will take a lot of hard work to beat them. The key is to not give up and you'll get there one day.

Study your competition and look what they have (good content, Backlinks, time established, seo onsite,...) and improve it.

It could be possible that because you're hosted in the UK and aiming for a UK market, Google sees your site IP & location and gives you the thumbs up. But when it compares your efforts against your USA competitors things don't add up the same way.

It's kind of hard to say for sure without giving your site a quick once over.
