    honestly i think from my experience that wikibacklinks are consided hihgly valubale by search engines if those wikisites pointing back to your site hold high pr...preferably starting at 5.. hope this may respond 2 your doubt!! cheers..

    Wikis are equivalent to .edu sites if you have a chance to link with wiki sites then good for you, wikibacklinks are very competent but the drawback is it is not easy to link with them.
