High quality backlinks?

I'm definitely new to IM, and I've been looking into how backlinks works, and I was wondering: Are you suppose to buy them? Like is that the key? Does every successful site do that? Or should I just continue without spending money. Just wondering what the norm is.

    Well, the "norm" is quality backlinks are actually earned: if your site contains quality information or is somehow epic and interesting in some way, other people will link to your site like wildfire.

    However, this is the IM world, where everybody wants everything fast and easy. So the "norm" here is to buy them. As for buying "quality" backlinks? In most cases, you won't find any that can be considered "quality" -- in fact, you might end up paying for backlinks that end up actually sinking your site due to Google's recent efforts to stomp out this obviously deceptive tactic of site rank manipulation.

    Go read about "white hat", "black hat" and "grey hat" linkbuilding / SEO. You will learn the do's and don't's of building links using these methods, and why linkbuilders fall into these different groups.

    If you are new, before you start delving down the Backlinks route I would suggest you try to make sure your on site content is really excellent and socially available. You can completley remove the need to make backlinks if you can get your viewers sharing your content on sites like Facebook (and these are actually some of the most rewarded links as of Googles latest updates).

    If you make your content engaging and useful (and funny doesn't hurt), and you prompt people to share it you can rank very well.

    After all that is sorted and you are still not ranking at the top, then start thinking about backlinks more seriously.

    you can outsource someone to create backlinks for you or can even do SEO by yourself...and seo is necessory for the increase in search engine rankings..
