Finding Blogs/Sites for Backlinks?

Hey Guys

I'm looking for ways to find my own blogs for backlinks and whatnot. I know how to assess a blog as to what PR it is and what kind of effect it may have on my SERPS. What I can't work out is how to find blogs that I will be able to post DO-FOLLOW backlinks on manually. I'm going to be spending a few hours a week backlinking to my new micro-niche site and trying to build a passive income without a lot of outlay, hence looking to do the vast majority of work for my first venture myself.

Any advice/information is greatly appreciated. Are there tools that you can use or?

    Scrapebox. It's pretty hard to beat once you get the hang of it. (And the various footprints you can use.)

    Scrapebox is not a free tool is it? I'll do a little bit of research on it later to find out how much it costs. Currently at work. Wouldn't mind to be honest having someone on Skype that I can just chat to in general whilst building links and whatnot. I don't expect to be spoonfed but I wouldn't mind a little bit of guidance in my first site. Perhaps I could write a few articles for someone that could help me out a little bit?

    Scrapebox isn't free. It is also a poor strategy looking for places to dump comment links. Wordpress has had nofollowed comments by default for years. Look for blogs you can add value to with a decent comment - look at it as marketing rather than SEO.
