Youtube Videos and Adsense

Hey guys,

I currently write 2300+ words per article on my blog and then put a Youtube video at the bottom.

Am I allowed to download someone elses video on Youtube, upload it to my YT channel and link it to my blog article? My first guess is no, which is why I am slightly concerned as I do not want to endanger my adsense account.

I always leave credits in the description of the video and also mention the channel name in the article on my blog. Is this allowed? I could create my own videos, its just currently a battle against time but I am willing to do it if I have to.

P.S: All these videos are instructional (like how to get rid, etc) and I always mention that they are for instructional purposes only.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi

You can't download a video from YouTube and then upload it as your own. But you can embed other YouTube videos in your page.

You can also look for Creative Commons videos and re-purpose them for your own use.

Go to the editor click on the CC tab and select videos to work with. You can edit add text overlays right in YouTube.
