Anyone using AdWords for Video? I burned through my daily budget in 4 minutes

I put up a video as an ad on YouTube. Thankfully I set a low daily budget because when I look my getclicky log and see the list of youtube.com referring videos, it's all kinds of assorted content.
In other words, it doesn't look like AdWords is displaying this ad on the sidebar of relevant videos. Kind of makes you wonder why anyone would use it if they can't deliver targeted traffic.
Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help.
