Dead Adword Campaign's

Do any of you "Adword guru's" know how to delete a campaign that has been turned off and deleted but is still hanging in my view at my adwords account?
I've deleted it may times but it still stays there waiting for me to undelete it.
I just keep thinking that there is some little button I push some where that will get rid of it.
