Regular time for blog to rank on google

I know there is´t any rule for this but for travel blog or any other.

Now it is 2 weeks sins I start my blog. Most article are my content only. All page are now on google when I search site:mysiteurl.com

I do have mostly traffic from search engine spider

Is there any quidline for how long time it take to see some traffic ?

    You get search engine traffic when your blog appears on search results and users click on those.

    If you didn't do proper SEO you may never see results.

    Personally, after doing keyword research and on-page SEO I see the first visitors coming from search engines in a week or two.

    It all depends on your keywords, the competition and backlinks. If your keywords have little or no competition, then you can start seeing some results fairly quickly. If your keywords have tons of competition then you will need to analyze your competition and see what they are doing.

    Have you tried pinging the site with ping services? Wordpress posts typically show up in the results within a day, because Wordpress pings all the different ping servers that Google monitor.

    Try doing some other things too like adding your RSS to feed directories, and also G+ your posts and share them on Facebook.

      Honestly I dont know what pinging nor ping servise is
      Hovever I look on my traffic on directadmin and it tell me that I have 388 visit so far this month. I quess that myself is at least half of that when I check my website and are working to add some content

        Pinging is announcing search engines about the existence of a page.
        Pinging helps indexing a page.

        But you said you see all your pages when you do a site: search for your website in Google - that means the pages from your website are already indexed, and I think pinging them will not help much at this point.

    It depends upon keywords. Longtail keywords take short time to rank on google 1st page and popular keywords get bit long time to rank if you did proper SEO, good backlinks,link juice, unique content..

    Have you created any backlinks to your blog yet? If not, the rankings may not ever appear.

    But we can't give you proper answer unless we know exactly what keyword you are targeting, which you probably would not want to share with us.

      I did spend some usd and buy backlinks but I´m still waiting that the seller will do the job

      I forgot to mention on that even this is new website it is PR2

    I think if you want organic traffic, your content should on google first page then you will get traffic..
    But you can get traffic from other way such as: post article at article directories, bookmark your content, get traffic from youtube, create pdf then submit to document sharing.. Hope it can helps
