Where to Go From Here? Adsense Site

Hi All,

I need some help! I have been ranking on page one for months now and usually around spot 5, although today I'm in spot 8. I want to get to the top three spots, but nervous to do too much differently and lose my 1st page ranking.

My site currently gets 2200 page views a month. only 16% of those come from my main keyword, and the rest come from 491 other keywords that have brought people to my site.

I've been using Pat Flynn's backlinking strategy that works. (Although I know that originally came from warrior forum as he points out.)

My questions in what can I do differently to move up on page one? The only tools I have available to me are Market Samurai, Unique Article Wizard, and Bookmarking Demon.

I have yet to use Unique Article Wizard to link directly to my site, and that is possibly where I am leaning, but again I am nervous that could backfire. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also I have attached a screen shot of my competition from Market Samurai showing what I am up against. (My site is 8 on that list)

    Have you tried backlinking from high pr pages? There is a simple strategy currently floating on the web called slap proof seo. My team implemented it on a health blog of time that resided between 30-40 and did not want to move up. The method was implemented for 5 days.

    It involves using tumblr as backbone and it is very easy to do. IF you can spare 15 mins per day; it should be good enough to get you the extra boosts.

    Just my suggestion..feel free to explore more options from other veterans of SEO

      I've tried to find relevant pages that have high PR and will allow commenting if thats what you mean. I've searched Slap Proof SEO but don't want to but another shiny product. Can you expand on how this works? Or so you have a link to where it was explained?

        Looks like you have some steep competition for such a low volume keyword.

        How much is the keyword worth? Figure out how much to stand to make moving from 8 to 3, 2, or 1 and see if it is even worth the amount of time it will take.

        If it were my site and I'm only standing to gain another 1000 visits a month I'd probably chalk it up as "I ****ed up and picked a niche that was too hard". Live and learn and move onto the next one. But that's just me.
