My adsense ad requests not making sense!!!

Hi all. Ok so I run an authority site/blog through blogger. Currently the site is in it's early stages. Google allows 3 adsense thing mjigs per page so I have 3 running per page.

Now I placed 1 ad above the post and 1 below. The 3rd is in the actual post body, placed wherever I desire.

Now the 2 placed above and below were placed there by inputting the parsed adsense code in the html.

The third Ad however I just placed in the HTML of the actual post and have done so for every post.

Now here is what doesn't make sense. The ad that I placed manually into the bodies of the post, gets twice as much requests as the top or bottom ads. They should be the same should they not?

Am I missing something really obvious here?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are people reading your posts via RSS?
Are you displaying multiple posts per page?

both of which can cause that.

It isn't something to lose sleep over

      Thanks for the reply.

I currently have no RSS running.

I have set the blog to only display one post so i dont violoate adsense tos.

But the ctr is higher on the ad which has been put into the html of the post and not the template.

So i'm not sure of what to do.

So more people are clicking on the ads in the post, right? Is that what you are trying to say?
        Why is this a problem?

Yes that's right. My worry is that the other ads, top and bottom, are not being displayed at all times.

Now I could go and insert the adsense html into all the posts html instead of the template html to see if the ad requests increase, but that would be impractical as I have far too many posts.

I thought there may have been someone on the forum who might have some experience with this issue.
