Ya I know its fake. Its Crystal Clear but that not my point. My point is how they are doing this? I'm talking about the insights so everybody can detect fake PR easily. You can easily tell its fake because its PR10 but what if its PR5? It won't be that much easy.

Actually, this site having anything over a PR 0 would be easy to tell it's fake. There are only a handful of backlinks.

It doesn't really matter how they are doing it.

Probably the owner did some 301 redirect with some high pr aged domain that's why.

Look for this post - "How to Fake a Google Page Rank 10 . . . or any PR you want". You will get the answer.

But this technique won't help in increasing your website rank on Google

  • Here's a page that 'explains' the workings behind that - Trick To Get Google Pagerank 10 | Jeff Wu .net. Whether it works or not I have no idea and would not recommend anyone attempt to scam in this way - the site won't actually get any authority by doing this anyway.

That site was up for auction on Flippa a short while ago and even after reporting the blatant scam, Flippa were not interested in shutting down the auction - they would only go as far as adding a comment stating that the PR was 'probably fake'.

I've never tried the php and have no intention of doing so - I'd be very surprised if Google couldn't pick it up and just deindex the site.

    Chow chow,
    Kevin
