I'm talking about their ideas for generating traffic outside of this forum, buy yeah, the spam your talking about will continue to happen.

Really I'm talking about overall quality (not just content quality), it's like a foreign language around here, most just can't wrap their head around actually serving a purpose for the traffic they expect to land on their web pages.

While I agree with the rush of post whores
Its alot deeper then that with wothless wso sellars
While not all but most are crap

And god forbid you get on some of these "gurus" mail
List that spam ur box full and use misleading subject
Lines with a bs way to optout

Wonder if they heard of can spam I got sued for

  Worse I have ever seen it. I think it had something to do with Google changes. A Lot of people bailed out and others seem to have bought some training on how to leave in content links in forums. I am seeing that attempted now at every turn

  They'll leave though. Many have. I know I will be taking a long break soon. theres too much noise and nothing else. Plus to be honest I see an upswing of jealousy to those who are making it but who have a sig ( I even get attacked now without one). Finally theres such a bad attitude and high expectation from those who give nothing.

I am new to the forum over the last 5-6 months. I see a lot of it too.

That said....If anyone needs any web design or lead gen services call me at... Oh yeah sorry I forgot what we were talking about. LOL

Anyway, those people have no future as marketers so I just skip by it. The same goes for mailing lists I join. If I get more then 2-3 promos without any real content I unsubscribe. I only have 3-4 marketers whos email I regularly read. The rest are unsubscribed or deleted.

I don't see why anybody would want to send "spam" anyway. The only way somebody is going to spend more than 3 seconds on your site is if they are "targeted" or decide that your offer will benefit them & worth taking a look at.

Heh yeah. I feel like a d*** because now things are finally happening for me, and I'm at the point of being MIA.. I've learned a lot in this forum, and I want to give back. But there always has to be some dumb remark

"No you're doing it wrong. Check out my signature bro."

Then it leads to some crappy looking site with stretched out images, poor grammar, AND THE WORST SERVICE EVER.

I'm sorry but that is hilarious. I haven't been here very long at all. I've known WF was around for years. Just never had much of a reason to check it out. Everything is filled with spam these days. There are the ones that are looking for a silver bullet pill that makes them rich overnight. Then, there are spammy marketers that have never made any real money on their own campaigns that are trying to give them boxed solutions. Sad.

I think they can distinguish between self promotion and spamming but just cant understand how a site can be promoted without doing spamming. Traffic generation is our main goal. Isnt it? And to drive traffic we need to be creative. 1k backlinks from 1k different websites definitely dont work rather just 1 backlink from a nofollow youtube video can do the work done easily. Sometime I really become confused why people dont see how easy sources are available to leverage their goals!

Spamming is the hardest route, no doubt. Still 80% people would go for hundreds of backlinks rather 5 quality backlinks. Reason is not only lack of knowledge but also lack of experience, lack of thinking ability and lack of creativity too. SEO or IM requires creativity as well as good analytical ability. But how many of even successful IMer have good analytical ability to think in right way and creativity to develop handy risk free strategies? To be honest the number is Very Few.

Regarding forum spam; I believe a simple "no follow" for the signatures would get rid of 80% of the spammers. There are other solutions, but they are more complex.

Regarding the way people generate traffic and "work" their asses of to trick either other warriors into buying crappy WSOs or just "sharing" their "i am not spamming, but chec out my spinner/submitter 24 clicks to millions sig"....Kick/Bann...I see no other way, cause it really is (as many stated before) SAD.

I come here daily and even if I ask a question it gets to PAGE #3 in 15 minutes, cause of all the "My adscende acccount banned- cry me a river!" x100 ...arghhh

Hope it clears out and the good old WF returns.
