Those plugins do basic on-page SEO, nothing more, no magic involved.

I personally use it on my 5 of my blogs, seems to work fine. Best advice would be just to try it out and see what you think.

I think for SEO purposes they are all about the same. As Yukon said they all do the basic on page SEO for you such as meta description. That being said I've been using Yoast as I personally like it better.

Yoast and all in one seo plugin both are good. But depends on which you would like to use as per the user friendleness of the software.

Both are good. But which plugin depends on your choice and based on that you can decide what to choose from.

    Hi Guys,

There's a discussion at LinkedIn about Yoast: linkedin.com/groups/SEO-Meetup-Group-Reviews-Yoast-1482937.S.168577136

Here's an in-depth review of WordPress SEO plugins: All in One SEO, Platinum, Yoast compared - foliovision.com/2011/10/wordpress-seo-plugins-review

As Yukon points out on-page SEO is just the START of effective SEO.

You can get yourself in a lot of trouble with Yoast's SEO plugin and do damage to your site. I prefer something more straightforward and simpler.

I personally use Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugin for my 2 sites and it's working good for me.

  • I've used both and I have experience with using them on more than a dozen of sites I own. Yoast has far more features far more... If you don't know SEO or know what your doing you can mess up your site using Yoast's plugin. For most people they ought to stick with all in one seo.. But as someone else said it really doesn't matter which one there are far more things to think about regarding SEO that these 2 plugins.

I've just started using Yoast and I wanted to know are you able to include more than one keyword in the "focus keyword" section? And if you can do you just separate by comma?

I use Platinum SEO pack because it's more user friendly and also light weight for site load.

Best to do it manually. But of those Yoast is the best. All in One SEO increases the page loading time quite a bit.

yup yoast is free and the brand is well known for wordpress know-how articles. Other than that i have tried AIO seo and it's not too bad. But there were some issues with people who had titles shown differently than specified in seo settings. Some themes cannot work with it and hence yoast is mostly recommended.

Though All in One SEO is pioneer and very good plug in, but Yoast now is the Number one SEO Plugin in the market after release of its beta version.
if you install yoast then you dont need to install any additional seo plugins.
