About No Follow and Do Follow

Hello Members,

I want to know what is no follow and what is do follow ? How its work in terms of SEO ? If my site is no follow, than can i get any benefit or not ?

    Hi matthewjudd, If you are having one site, that site having PR3 in Homepage. From homepage you gave one external link. In that link Do-Follow means, it will pass the Link Juice to targeted page. If no-follow means, cant pass the link juice to targeted page. That is the difference between these two terms in SEO.

    People will tell that DoFollow Links are better than NoFollow Links but in my personal experience and opinion both of them are good.

    As quite a newbie I will give the advice I was given.

    DONT just focus on building do follow links Google are not stupid and they will see it as unnatural link building and if not today at some point in the future they will punish you for it. Try and get a combination of do follow and no follow links

    I agree with Craig here, people will tell you that you should follow on building in do follow links, but recent changes revealed that building links solely on do follow links is seemed unnatural by search engines

    Both dofollow and nofollow links are now important to get better search engine ranking. No matter what kind of link you are getting as long as they are in relevant sites. It is very important now a days. If you only build dofollow backlinks, this will be marked as unnatural links.

    "No-Follow" means search engine robot haven't follow while in "Do-Follow" terms search engine robot follow it.

    In "No-Follow" terms backlinks aren't generated while in "Do-Follow" terms that backlinks are generated.

    If your site is "No-Follow" then search engine robot aren't follow your site which is not a beneficial for your website to indexed your pages in search engine.

    Do follow means follow the links to search engines and no do follow means not to follow the links to search engines. Do follow links have much greater advantage compared to no follow. But no follow links still have its own importance.
