Can SEO from different country make a bad impact on my Google results?

My website is in the US. If I find a SEO company from Europe, and they do SEO for me, do you think it might have a bad impact on my search results? My websites target visitors are only from North America.

    It depends if you get like a tons of back links in a different langue then your site it will have a effect on it. but overall if the company doesn't use websites with us domains to make backlinks like .com/.net/etc. It will rank it with whatever domain that is default for that area. Example google.co.uk or google.de instead of google.com. Hope this helps you.

    As long as hour site is based from us based sites with us language and the search engine optimized is your local SE then it does not really matter.
