Blog comments linking to wrong page?

Hi,
I recently started to post quality blog comment in an effort to get backlinks to my site. Mainly I go to blogs that have a function called "comment luv" I'm sure you guys are familiar with it.
Problem occurs that when I enter my websites such as xxxxxxxx.com it links to xxxxxxx.com/blog
My site is built around pages and not blog entries.
How may I modify my website so that it links to my first page?
In a attempt to fix this problem I removed the blog function from my site and enterted my url once again but this time I get an error message saying:
"Sorry, no posts were in the feed that was returned when I asked for them."
Anyone experienced the same problem and/or have a solution to this?
