I need some help with my adsense payment. i currently receive an electronic transfer in £ to my UK bank account. Just today I have had a $ bank account opened with my bank and I want Google to pay me in $ straight to that account. I've been into the account set up and it only seems to let me do electronic transfers in pounds! I don't particularly want them to transfer from $ to £ to make the transfer and then my bank have to transfer back to $ to credit my account!

Does anyone else do this and could let me know how to set it up. I know I could ask for a $ cheque but it will take ages for that to clear and costs more to pay into my account!

Why would it cost more to put a dollar cheque into a dollar account? it didn't when I had a dollar account. That was the whole point of having one.

Also, once you build up your Adsense income into the thousands per month, why would you want to keep that much money in dollars? With sterling so weak, you should move your spare cash from dollars into sterling. You get a great rate at present.

It costs more to pay a cheque in than to receive an electronic transfer - sorry I didn't make that bit clear.

Unfortunately I'm not earning thousands a month yet - only hundreds - and I have personal reasons why I want to keep the money in dollars. I know the rate is good for us now but this is what I want to do.

you can't mate, you need to have a US residential address.

Don't worrry about it. If you want US Dollars, just link up your UK bank account to your Paypal account and transfer the funds for ZERO cost to your UK Paypal account, then send these funds over to a US bank account.

        It's what I do

I had a dollar account with Lloyds Jersey. I paid an annual fee of $50 and there were no charges whatsoever for depositing US checks.
