Well i have an online cosmetics store. I am trying to get backlinks for my site but it is a tiring process because all the task is done manually. What i mean is that it is easy to get people talking about a content channel because they easily share the articles they like with friends but in case of a online store why will anybody talk about it? so i need few suggestions for what i can do to build my website backlinks and hence its ranking.

You can always have a look in the classifieds section at some packages that people are selling. Although be careful to purchase one with good reviews as some could hinder rather than help you.

Other than that its all about finding decent relevant sites. Maybe make yourself a blog network.

There are plenty of things to talk about in the cosmetics niche. Add a blog to your site and start making regular posts that help potential customers with their purchasing decisions. Use those blog posts to reinforce your social efforts and provide something that will engage people. If the articles are helpful, people will share and the search engines will crawl your site more frequently and you will get rankings on long tail queries.

    Good Luck!

Because one thing leads to another.
Have you ever considered creating an affiliate program for video bloggers who could create how-to videos and advertise your store along with that?

I also hate building backlinks. That's why I do it on auto pilot: Step Five – Building Links To Your Niche Sites

    I hope that helps.

It depends on whether you want to only use whitehat methods or are comfortable with greyhat ones...

In the greyhat world, there are obviously tons of linkbuilding tools and services that avoid the need for manual backlinking though in the Penguin area, you have to be careful how you approach it.
