Hi,

I know anchor text hyperlinks are backlinks but I wanted to know what is importance of hyperlinks with domain

example:
[no anchor text just a url like this]

1) Can it help to get some position
2) If I post many blogs and forums(Xrumer) with hyperlink in post; can it effect my website badly because it is said more backlinks in short time will put website on penalty/

    If you get lots of quality backlinks in a short time then it will surely affect your sites and get chances of penalty will be high. So, always create backlinks with best quality and proper slot of time to get effective and best results.

      So what do you do? Tell people not to link to your site, tell them how
      they MUST link to your site, and keep a running total so people
      don't link to you if you reach some magical limit?

      You are completely missing anything from google on the subject.

      If you got a massive amount of great backlinks in one day, they'd
      love it. It's called going viral.

      Penalties and not helping seem to get mixed up here.

      There is no limit to the amount of quality backlinks to get.
      There is no reason to vary anchor text if that's what you
      are doing. And if you're not, varying anchor text is like
      polishing a turd. It's still a turd.
