What Mistakes Not Make When Start Working with Microsoft Adcenter?

As some of you may know, Adcenter treats advertisers differently, giving preference and best support to business owners and disliking affiliates. Thus if you an affiliate, then when you join Adcenter it's best to drive traffic to an empty site with no affiliate links for a while to avoid being labelled as affiliate.

When you start working with Adcenter, what other things to watch out for?

    Yes you should be fine.

    Some general tips:

    - They don't like junky offers.

    - Run through all the campaign settings before launching things.

    - You are going to have focus more on popular keywords, then say Adwords.

    - Always be testing.

You may be the first one to say that Adcenter dislikes affiliates, at least that I've found. I knew this day would come but it took longer than I thought.

For the record, it's not true but I'm sure this myth will spread. Like Adwords, they want advertisers to follows their rules. Those rules are pretty much the same as Adwords. So learn them and avoid doing what the rules say you can't do. So I guess that would be the one mistake not to make: not reading and abiding by the TOS.

I heard this from PPC-coach, and this guy won't state something if he is not sure it's true. Whether you believe it or not - that's your choice.

PPC Coach says Adcenter doesn't like affiliates?

Here's the Adcenter rules and guidelines. Tell me where you see they don't like affiliates. For that matter, where in the Adwords guidelines does it say that?

Adwords and Adcenter don't like affiliates?

I call shenanigans. What they probably don't like(I'm guessing here as I don't have these sites) is spammy one page sites which have terrible content and offer nothing to the end user except 4-500 words of content going to an affiliate offer. An affiliate site which is content full wouldn't be denied, in fact you hear people who drive Adwords traffic to sites which have both Amazon and Adsense blocks on the sites.

To say neither likes Affiliates sites is b/s.
