No ads showing for KW on Google...

I found a keyword in Adwords tool....says the CPC is about $1.70.

Enter the keyword into Google search....no ads show in the right column.

I used several variations of the KW....no ads.

Any ideas?

  try that kw in keywordspy/spyfu,
  also try using another browser, logged out your g account, geo location and maybe caused by time of day.
  Could be many different things.

There are many reasons why you would not see any ads. Doesn't mean there are no advertisers for the keyword.

  Go to the Google Ad Preview Tool and try different settings, including different geographical locations. Also, ads for that keyword may only show during certain times of day. The adverstiser controls that.
