Poor content site rank higher?

Are there still some poor English/content rank high on Google? Or did they fix them all?

      Did I say I want to create poor content? No!!!!!!
      However I am trying to analyze something. Previously people were bitchin about poor sites ranking. I want to see example and try to understand what is going on? If anyone have one, please share.

    I am still seeing sites with tons of reciprocal links, duplicate content, and piss poor content ranking well in my industry.

    I suppose it would depend on the level of competition for the keyword. Obviously higher competition keywords will not have poor content at the top due to the level of competition and spam reports from competitors. Low competion keywords are not only easier to rank for with the lack of competition but the ability to fly under Google's radar due to that fact.

    Google's techs aren't reviewing every site manually. They just created a flux in the algorithm to look for certain defects within content and back link structure. However back links aren't as necessary with low competion keywords so a well spun article can achieve organic success without ever being flagged unless they are manually reported for abuse..

      Please show me a sample of bad links ( mainly English). Maybe article that point to a site that ranks high on google.
