Dear warriors,

This post aims to help people to understand the Google panda update and I will also share with you some really interesting and important information!

Do you imagine why only Google has dominated the internet? There are many search engines online at this moment but I think that only Google is the boss right now! These guys have made an awesome work! Actually Google wants to provide a great experience, valuable information and they want to stop the searching.

I mean that Google wants to make it easier for you to find any information you want within seconds! Think about it....the easier it is to find something within a specific search engine the better for this engine because you will use it every time you need it.

After the update of Google panda about 12% of websites dropped down and these guys have lost a great amount of unique and targeted visitors to their websites. So with this update, quality is the most important factor which can help you not to go to the 1000 page in Google. Bigger websites with great quality of content went higher and small websites which also had many advertisements lost their ranking! Websites which people like more are in one group and websites which people like less are in the other group and Google update also take into account a lot of factors and metrics in order to separate these websites and at the end choose the best to be in the higher position.

If you own a website which has been affected from the update then you need to optimize your website properly in order to give quality information and also it would be great if your content would be enjoyable!! The more interesting your content is the more people will share your information so with that you are involved in the viral nature of internet! If you do not want or it is a bit tricky for you to optimize your website then there are many SEO experts out there who can actually skyrocket your website! Before you make a purchase with these guys you need to know who is the most reliable and also get samples from these people if you can because as you know for best Seo service you need to pay money!!

Now let me share with you what actually to avoid in order not to lose your position in Google.

First of all your website has to have a really outstanding appearance and believe me that it helps a lot because sometimes great graphics with normal content can make you rich. All your webpages need to have quality and unique information written by you or by expert writers. If you have a webpage that is not really good or it has some sort of spam then your whole website is in danger of losing position!! All your webpages must provide value...do not try to sell or to put a lot of advertisements in your website because you will lose your visitors. The more time your visitors are in your website, the better for you!

Good luck,
Zouras

I definitely agree that higher quality sites are not only easier to rank but can also handle a lot more in terms of spammy links. Where an affiliate site can get tanked to page nowhere it's just much harder to rank a legit site from an offline business owner. In fact I had several clients that lost rankings after all the blog network deindexing that took place months ago, no surprise cause they lost links. But it was much easier to get them back on track while other sites seemed to be lost forever.

As you said yourself as well, limit the amount of advertisements, not only cause you lose your visitors but more so cause the amount of affiliate links, adsense ad blocks influence your rankings hugely. What's smart as well is to not only use Txt Adsense blocks but also visuals, sure they convert worse but we've seen huge difference in rankings when going from 3 large ad txt blocks to 1 banner and 1 large txt block. It moved use from page 3 to position 1 on page 1. Yes no kidding, and this was 2 months after links were build when we started to play with those ad placements and types.

Agreed. To the clients I talk to, I always recommend that they fix their site first. I see a lot of crappy sites heavily stuffed with keywords, ads and sometimes, really really bad content.

There's a lot of fluff in this thread. I'm seeing more and more rubbish in Google. I just looked for a Woo Themes technical support issue - I didn't even see their support site in the top 10. Sheesh.

Also my friend's really popular site (2500+ daily visits) has been hit hard by Panda - once again Google has no answer for somebody who is well known and writes for many different sites.
